These terms and conditions of sale apply to any order to purchase products on our website www.bugbag.co.uk
We are BugBag Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”) a company registered in England and Wales under registration number 13355869. OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU
By ordering any of our products you confirm that you are a resident in the United Kingdom and ordering products for delivery in the United Kingdom.
If your order is accepted, and the payment has been received we will provide you with an email confirmation containing your order number, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.
We will e-mail you to confirm once your order has been dispatched.
There may be circumstances where we are unable to accept your order. A few examples of why we may decline an order are, if the product is out of stock or because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product. In this instance we will inform you of the reason we cannot accept your order, and will not charge you for the product.
All photographs of our products are for illustrative purposes only. We have made every effort to display the colours and images of our products on the website as accurately as possible. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images.
Our website is regularly updated and we take great care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct.
The age guide for our BugBags is for your guidance only. For example our 6-18 month BugBag may last some children 20 months, while others may be ready for the next size up at 16 months. More information on the size of our bags, and when you should move to the next size can be found here.
As with all cotton goods, we have designed our BugBag to allow for up to 5% shrinkage. Please follow all washing instructions when washing your sleep bag.
We reserve the right to limit or stop the sales of our products or services to any person at any time. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. Our products and the pricing are subject to changes in supply levels, supply prices and currency fluctuations and we reserve the right to amend the pricing of our products.
Product descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice, at our discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
The price displayed for products does not include postage or delivery charges. The cost of delivery will be as displayed on our website.
Currently we can only deliver to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
We are unable to dispatch items until the full payment, including the cost for postage has been received.
As soon as full payment has been received you will own the product. We will deliver the product to the address you have given us, and it will be your responsibility once we have dispatched the item.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Your product will be delivered either by local postal services or a courier. Delivery times can depend on our stock availability, the delivery address, when the order was placed and other circumstances impacting the postage service or courier. In order to get your item to you as quickly as possible we reserve the right to use an alternative delivery method without prior notification.
We are not responsible for any delays in the delivery of your parcel which are outside of our control.
If your purchase is lost or undelivered, it is your responsibility to report this to us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days.
If your purchase is lost or undelivered, in order to process a refund you are required to comply with the local postal service or courier’s claim compensation process.
If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside of our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know. You may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received. We will not be liable for delays in getting the product to you.
If after a failed delivery to you, you are responsible for re-arranging delivery or collecting the items from a delivery depot. If the item is returned to us we may charge you for any further delivery costs. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are not able to contact you or re-arrange delivery we may end the contract.
RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
If you would like to return a product you receive from us, please contact our customer services team by emailing email@example.com, or using the contact us section of our website.
You can return the item to us within 28 days of receipt of your purchase to receive a full refund of the cost of the goods. They must be in a re-saleable condition, unworn, unwashed and returned in their original packaging, with the tags still attached. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
All returns will be refunded to you via your original form of payment once they have been received and inspected. Please allow up to fourteen days for the credit to appear on your statement.
We work hard to ensure each item is carefully checked before sending, so that they arrive to you in perfect condition. But in the event that you receive a faulty item, please get in touch with our customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org or using the contact us section of our website. We can then advise on returning the item to us, so we can inspect and investigate the fault. If after inspection a fault is agreed, we shall issue you with a full refund including all postage costs.
Should the returned item/s not meet our return terms and conditions as set out in the returns information (not used/worn/washed and must be in original packaging), the company has the right to NOT refund the cost of the item/s and will charge postage for the return of the item to the customer. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
You have a 14 day cooling off period enabling you to end the contact and cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the products. You can do this by contacting us at email@example.com
We will refund the cost of the product. You are responsible for the costs of returning items to us.
OUR RIGHTS TO END THE CONTRACT
We reserve the right to end the contract in any of the following situations:
Payment for the product has not been received.
We are not provided with the details necessary to provide the product to you.
You do not, within a reasonable time, allow us to deliver the product to you.
A refund will be made for any products paid for that we have not provided.
OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care. However, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
Please read these terms and conditions before you place your order with us. By ordering a product from us, you agree that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
